Bobby Inbox is in a controlled, invitation-only inbound pilot. Product illustrations on this page use sample data. See the brand book

Every message. Visible, routed and under control.

Bobby Inbox is a shared inbox for teams that live in email. Receive mail directly at a private Bobby address or forward it in from the address you already use. Every message stays visible in its channel — including the ones that are forwarded onward. The full product adds organising, assigning and replying together, with optional AI assistance the workspace switches on itself.

Email first. Accounts, sign-in and governed inbound receiving with a canonical archive are running for invited pilot workspaces. Outbound replies, workspace sending, Forward All, AI execution, billing, the public API and MCP are not launched.

How Bobby Inbox works

From the address you already use to a channel your whole team can see.

One straight line, with nothing hidden in the middle.

  1. 1. Existing email address

Keep support@, sales@ or finance@ exactly as it is.

  2. 2. Private Bobby inbound address

Each channel gets its own inbound address. Point mail at it directly, or forward into it.

  3. 3. Bobby Inbox channel

The message becomes a shared conversation your team can read, tag, assign and answer.

  4. 4. Optional forwarding

Rules can send the message onward to another system or address when you want them to.

  5. 5. Delivery audit

Received, matched, forwarded, delivered or failed — recorded on the conversation itself.

  6. 6. Optional AI assistance

If the workspace switches it on, Bobby AI adds a summary, a priority signal and suggestions.

In the current pilot: Routing and delivery records are kept for inbound mail and governed Support forwarding. Broader routing rules are part of the full product.

Two ways to run it

Full inbox mode, forwarding mode, or both in the same workspace.

Inbox mode

Your team works inside Bobby Inbox: receive, read, organise, assign, comment internally and reply from the shared channel. The channel is where the conversation lives.

Forwarding mode

Bobby Inbox receives and retains every message, then automatically forwards it to wherever your team already works. You gain the record without changing the habit.

Forwarding never makes the original message disappear from Bobby Inbox.

In the current pilot: Invited workspaces receive and archive inbound mail and read it in the shared console. Replying from Bobby Inbox is part of the full product and is not launched yet. Forwarding runs for the Support channel only, after the original is archived, under operational safety controls.

Features

A real shared inbox, built around the message record.

The important signals rise; everything else stays findable.

One address, one channel

Each Bobby Inbox channel has its own private inbound address. Mail sent to it, or forwarded into it, lands in the same shared place.

Nothing quietly disappears

Messages are retained in the channel whatever routing does with them afterwards, so nobody has to reconstruct a thread from memory.

Rules that explain themselves

Routing rules are written in plain terms, and every rule that fires is recorded on the conversation it acted on.

Priority above the noise

Priority, unassigned, mentions, forwarded and failed delivery are first-class views rather than filters you rebuild each morning.

Tags and structure

Tags, snoozing and drafts keep a busy channel organised without anyone inventing a folder scheme in private.

Search across the record

Search reaches conversations, contacts and delivery events, so the answer to “what happened to that email” is in one place.

Team collaboration

One clear place for team communication.

Assignment, presence and internal comments live next to the message, not in a side channel nobody can search later.

Assign an owner

Every conversation can have one accountable owner and a visible queue.

Mention a teammate

Pull the right person in without forwarding the thread out of the channel.

Comment internally

Internal comments sit inside the conversation and are never sent to the contact.

Draft together

See who is viewing and who is drafting before two people answer the same message.

In the current pilot: These collaboration tools describe the full product. Pilot workspaces read inbound conversations; outbound replies and workspace sending are not launched.

Routing and delivery audit

Routing with accountability.

Every routing decision and delivery attempt is recorded on the conversation it belongs to, including the ones that fail.

Received

Which inbound address accepted the message, and when.

Matched

Which routing rule fired, and what it decided to do.

Forwarded

Where the message was sent onward — while the original stays in the channel.

Delivered or failed

The result of the attempt, with the reason when it fails.

Bobby AI

Intelligent assistance without losing human control.

AI assistance is optional and controlled by the workspace. It never sends anything on its own, and when it is switched off it does nothing at all.

Summaries

A short summary of a long thread so the next person starts informed.

Priority signal

A suggestion about what deserves attention first — a signal, not a verdict.

Intent

What the message is actually asking for, in plain language.

Suggested tags and assignment

Proposals your team accepts, edits or ignores.

Action items

The concrete things the thread is waiting on.

Suggested replies and tone

A draft to start from, and rewriting to match your tone. A person always sends.

AI features draw on Bobby AI Credits held by the workspace, so the cost of assistance stays visible and bounded. Credit pack pricing is not published yet. AI usage through the future API also consumes workspace credits.

In the current pilot: Bobby AI describes the full product. AI execution is not launched, so no AI processes pilot mail.

API and integrations

An optional API add-on, and MCP coming soon.

API access

Planned as an optional add-on at €99 per workspace per month.

Approved workspaces

Approved workspaces will be able to connect their own systems to their channels.

MCP

Coming soon.

API keys, webhooks and MCP are not operational. Nothing on this site issues credentials or accepts API calls.

What comes next

Email first. Other channels follow.

Bobby Inbox starts where team communication is heaviest and least visible. Additional communication channels are planned, and each one will be announced when it genuinely works — not before.

Security and privacy direction

The direction we are building toward.

These are design commitments for the product we are building, not certifications we hold today.

Workspace-scoped data

Channels, conversations and audit records belong to one workspace.

Explicit AI control

AI assistance stays off until a workspace turns it on, per workspace.

Auditable routing

Routing and delivery activity is recorded so it can be reviewed later.

Least surprise

No hidden forwarding, no silent deletion, no message that quietly vanishes.

Pricing preview

Straightforward per-seat pricing.

Forward-only delivery is the default for every plan: mail is archived first, then forwarded to your verified destination. The native Bobby Inbox experience (stored conversations in the shared console) is included in Professional and Enterprise. Nothing can be purchased yet: there is no checkout and billing is not connected.

FAQ

Questions we are asked most.

Do we have to move our existing email address?

No. A channel can receive mail at its own private Bobby inbound address, or you can keep your current address and forward into the channel. Both routes end in the same shared conversation.

If a message is forwarded onward, is it still in Bobby Inbox?

Yes. Forwarding never makes the original message disappear from Bobby Inbox. The channel keeps the message and records the forward as a delivery event.

Is AI always reading our mail?

No. AI assistance is optional and controlled by the workspace. When it is switched off, no summaries, priority signals or suggestions are produced.

What does AI cost?

AI features draw on Bobby AI Credits held by the workspace. Credit pack pricing is not published yet.

Which channels are supported?

Email first. Other communication channels are planned and will be announced when they are genuinely ready.

Is there an API?

API access is planned as an optional add-on at €99 per workspace per month for approved workspaces. It is not launched during the pilot, and MCP support is coming soon.

Can we use Bobby Inbox today?

Only by invitation. Bobby Inbox runs as a controlled inbound pilot: governed inbound receiving and a canonical archive are running for invited workspaces, and Support forwarding has been technically validated under operational safety controls. Outbound replies, workspace sending, Forward All, AI execution, billing, the public API and MCP are not launched.
